Welcome to the Harari Women's Forum,
Have you ever wandered why Harari Women are the silent majority of our community?
Well if you have you are not alone. And every time this question comes up , I have to take a step back and consolidate the concepts in my mind. ”How can this change?” there was always a number of ideas flowing in my head, yet I was never able to put them into any articulate form. Thru discussion with many Harari sisters, finally the idea of Harari women's forum came about. It may start with the word no, or it might start with a yes.The important point is that it starts. Harari Women’s Forum is a wonderful starting point for some and a middle point for others, but it's definitely not the end.
This Forum isn't just about Harari women. Its about stimulating dialogue and discussion about our community, society, culture, religion, current affairs and the list can go on and on. The objective of this forum is to highlight and enhance the Harari Women's contribution at all level of responsiblity to our society as well as discuss our collective problems and issues

I am sure that we will have a very constructive and civilized discussion and i have no doubt in my mind
that it will be a joyful and educational experience for all of us.
Even though we all walk away and resume our separate lives. Remember that we are always connected (Hararis).

I will take this opportunity to congratulate my sisters in Islam, Particularly to all those who work very hard to stay in the path of Allaah, holding on to their dignity and building our Harari Community to stay together without any deviations. I could say without you we men would have been in turmoil and chaos.

Allaah The Most High said:

"And from amongst His Signs is this: That He created for you wives from amongst yourselves, so that you may find serenity and tranquility in them. And He has put between you love and compassion. Indeed, in this are signs for those who reflect." [Soorah Room 30:21].
